Your four-legged friend may stay in the garden, but please note that our front garden and the green areas around the house are not toilets. Thank you for your understanding and consideration!

In Grächen
Leashes are compulsory in the entire village area, including the designated hiking trails.
There are numerous Robidog stations available in the municipality, such as at the Hannigalpbahn valley station, the village square or the sports center. One such station is also located around 150 meters north of your vacation apartment. You will also regularly come across Robidog stations on the hiking trails.
In restaurant & bars
Pets are welcome in most bars and restaurants in Grächen, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy a cozy restaurant visit after an eventful day on the hiking trails or other activities. Whether you opt for local specialties or international delicacies – your four-legged companion is welcome to join you!
In the gondola
Your faithful companion can also enjoy the picturesque ride on the fairytale gondola lift! A special ticket is available for just CHF 5, while a season ticket for CHF 50 allows you to experience unforgettable moments with your four-legged friend in the mountains all year round.
Entry requirements
If you are traveling from an EU country to your vacation apartment in Grächen, we have the following entry requirements for you.
Your dog needs the following for entry and transit in Switzerland: an EU pet passport and microchip identification.
A valid rabies vaccination (at least 21 days old): Proof of valid vaccination against rabies must be provided in the so-called animal health certificate.
Salon and school
In St. Niklaus (6 km away) you will find the Merlin dog salon if you would like to give your friend a spa treatment. On offer are:

In St. Niklaus you will also find the Imboden dog school, which regularly organizes exciting hut hikes or other enjoyable excursions. There you have the opportunity not only to enjoy the wonderful landscape, but also to receive valuable tips on how to handle your four-legged friend.
Summer with your dog in Grächen
For families with furry friends, it’s great to know that your four-legged companions are also very welcome at the Robis adventure playground.
You and your dog are sure to have fun along all the hiking trails in Grächen and the surrounding area. Almost every route has water points where you can play or cool off, and the routes often lead through shady sections in the forest, which is particularly pleasant on warm days.
Winter with a dog in Grächen
Even in winter, four-legged friends and their owners can enjoy their vacation with us. Winter hikes, snowshoe tours, cross-country skiing, sledging or ski touring, but also skiing vacations with dogs are on the program here.
The entrance to the cable cars has been made paw-friendly so that your dog can’t hurt itself. A ticket for the cable car costs CHF 5, a season ticket costs CHF 50.
What is perhaps also important for you and your dog is that the roads and public places in Grächen are gritted with salt in winter, hiking trails with gravel or wood shavings.
